The washing machine not working in spin mode seriously affects the daily routine and significantly extends the drying time of clothes, especially in winter months. Such malfunctions cause the user to spend additional time and energy. The malfunction of the spin mode may be due to both technical and mechanical reasons, and its signs may not be obvious at first glance. Sometimes a problem that seems simple, such as the door not closing completely, can block all functions of the machine. 1. Clogging in the washing machine pump

One of the most common reasons why the washing machine doesn’t work in spin mode is clogging in the water pump. The pump provides the discharge of dirty water, but if small objects, hair, fabric pieces, and dust accumulate between the filter and the pump, the water cannot be completely discharged. As a result, the machine does not switch to spin mode because there is still water inside. To prevent this problem, it is important to check the pump and filter regularly.
